Dress for an outdoor wedding. The ceremony will take place down the hill next to the lake, weather permitting. The trees will be green by then!

Hors d'oeuvres and buffet dinner will follow.

Gift Registries

We are not officially registered for gifts but in recent weeks many of you have asked for our help in this department. Please don’t feel you need to bring a gift - we have everything we need already! But if you’re determined, here’s what we enjoy: good wine, great food (consuming and cooking!), music of all kinds, gardening and tending to our country nest. Our favorite local shopping destinations include the Ithaca Agway, Now You’re Cooking, Northside Liquors and Wine (ask for Jason Wentworth!), Handwork, American Crafts by Robbie Dein and Lowes. Other favorite out of town spots include Crate and Barrel, Williams Sonoma, Borders, Barnes and Noble and Amazon.

Glenwood Pines The best burger in the area. Located just north of Ithaca on Route 89 (on the way to Taughannock State Park) these burgers are definitely worth the trip! Casual tavern atmosphere - a favorite spot among the locals.

Wegmans Okay, so why do we have a grocery store on the list of our list of places to eat? Guess you’ll just have to go and see for yourself! Here is just a sampling of our favorite reasons for eating at Wegmans: "Wings of Life” salads, made to order pastas, vegetarian bar, Asian bar, made to order subs, homemade soups, deli salads and an array of in-house prepared foods...need we say more. You’ve gotta see it to believe it. Located on Route 13 next to the Super 8 Motel and across the street from Thai Cuisine.
